Peter Simunovich

Occupational Health and Safety Instructor - EMA

Peter has spent twelve years as a primary provider of injury prevention training and exercised based rehabilitation to the New Zealand Fire Service, specialising in the return to work of emergency services personnel from injury or illness.


Peter lectures in human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and public health at Auckland polytechnics and universities and holds a Master’s degree in Public Health with post graduate qualifications in the field of health science. He has published articles on the subject of healthcare and ageing in New Zealand and is currently a contracted provider of manual handling and health and safety training to the EMA.
